So in other words, its so loud that after it makes me instantly go deaf, I'll still be able to hear it?

uh... no.

B) the human ear cannot perceive increases of volume over 120 db.

these are physical facts of aural perception, by the way, not more car-audio weenie bullsh!t. so even if your subs could push 150 db...

WHO THE FVCK CARES?

cause no one can hear that "loud" anyway.

A) They are 15''s, not 12''s.

B)
WHO THE FVCK CARES?
I guess you care, cuz you posted on here.

C) I wanted to hear about other peoples systems. But everyone started saying that my system can't hit 152db.

D) AND HOW THE FVCK IS A EXPEDITION A SMALL CAR?

No clue I don't have a meter.

I have 1 JL 18" W2.

It can hit lower than most I've heard except for show cars.

But I only got it because it was a good deal, my friend bought it and never once used it then ended up getting a small car and didn't have the room for it.

heh...i got a kicker 12" in a sealed box in the trunk of my buick...just got it hooked up a couple days ago for a little bit of bass...i might break 105db if i'm extremely lucky, lol

i could get 120(tested with a radio shack db meter, right by the drivers headrest) with a infinity perfect 12" in a monster ported box, though...same car, but a while ago...but that sub only lasted about a week...that box ate subwoofers like crazy...i went through 5 subs in a couple months time...they beat pretty hard until they died though :D

BAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

the WORLD RECORD SPL is 16X db

your 152 is such bullshlt it isnt funny.

it takes 2 15" RE MT's and about 6Kw of power to hit 150Db in a box that has been refined over and over again, and in a hatchback.

BAHAHAHAHAA

actually hes not full of sh!t, my housemate is a professional car audio installer and compeated for a long time, he had a civc that hit 148 with 2 10s,

i showed him teh pic and he said that if the mic weas placed closer to teh window it would eaisily hit 150, with enough power in that ported box

How do you hear it at 0?

Anyone know what db is supposed to stop a human heart. I recall reading about a car audio competition where no one could be close to the car when it was cranked.
