how good is opteron 144 CABNE 0544?

I am buying this processor, but dont know much about it, its CABNE but cant find 0544 anywhere on the web. anybody have any info on this stepping?

I just got my 144 from monarch, and it is the cabne 0544 EPMW stepping. I can't test it yet, because the rest of my parts haven't come in from Newegg yet, but I should have it up and running by next weekend. Anyone else have any info as to what I should expect?

BTW, these were 150 when I bought mine, now they are up to $200, but still in stock.

got mine running yesterday, started overclocking late last night.
@ 260 HTT it is prime stable overnight. stock retail hsf and voltage

still messing with it.....

That's weird, we are starting to see a resurge in CABNE steppings, although at a later production date. I wonder how they fare!

I've got a 146 CABGE 0536 coming in soon, and an unknown 144 from Monarch (God, they are SO FREAKING SLOW TO SHIP!)

Thats weird, mine was at my doorstep 5 days after I ordered, and I had chosen 5-7 day shipping. In fact, I had even placed my order on a weekend!

Well, I was supposed to get a 146 CAB2E 0540 FPMW, but due to an accident, my order was canceled. The only option I had after contacting my etailer was to wait on a CPU that was being returned (still sealed), or cancel. Since I had secured a really good price, and it was hard enough finding 146's in stock that weren't gouged as is, I figured I'd go for it.

Heck, I may get lucky. I saw some cabbages hit 3.0, so who knows what I'll do. It can't be any worse than my previous chip.

Incidentally, I came across that 144 @ Monarch for $148.
Maluno, this is my third order from Monarch, and all three times they have taken this long just to get my order out. I hate ordering from them, and only do it if they have the best deal on the net for a superb item.

i got my 144 to 270 stable, stock hsf and voltage. but any higher and my ram is causing problems, i posted a new thread about it. the G.SKILL kit i got from newegg isnt working very well right now, and 1 stick arrived dead.....
