I was able to see ghosting on the 1905fp. I got one a few months ago when there was a deal going on, but promptly sold it on ebay a week later. I think I was more sensitive to the ghosting because I had a 12 ms 19" LCD right next to it and was able to directly compare. I think if you're switching from a low ms LCD or a CRT, you might be able to see ghosting fairly easily.
I just got the 2405 today but haven't had a chance to hook it up........gotta fly out to Miami for a week and won't get to use it til I get back......I'm gonna be disappointed if it sux!
personally, during a game of quake 3, at 1024x768 75hz, the response time seems fast enough to me, I'm not bothered at all, and I don't feel my pwnage is bothered by it.
if your someone who is sensitive to ghosting, then you may want to get a faster monitor to be safe, unless you can personally test a 1905FP before you buy.
Some stores would probably let you do this, but I don't have any experience with this. You may want to post about it, or search.
It's really depends on the person. In anand's review, they mention that they found ghosting to be minimal and acceptable, but when I tested it myself, I thought otherwise.
