How good does Fix-A-Flat work?

I got a small leak in my tires I think it?s the bead in between the tire and wheel
Wanting to know how well does fix a flat work

The concerns I have is I?m using it on an YZ-rated tire.

Don't use it unless you have to. I used it once and it messed up the balance of my wheel. I had to take it to a shop and get the tire taken off and they had to remove the fix a flat goo and put it back together. If you have any type of sport tire/rim I would not use it. Take the tire/wheel to a tire shop and get the leak fixed, shouldnt cost too much.

Fix-a-flat works, but you have to turn the tire when it's drying or else it will cause the balance problems. It's more for emergencies though, go take it to a tire shop to put a plug in that should last mostly the life of the tire.

I used a cheap can of fix-a-flat to fix a small leak in my tire and it worked wonderfully. We used to have to fill that tire up every 2 weeks but now it remains at pressure. I drove the car for a few miles after putting the stuff in so that it would not dry funny

This was well over a year ago and I have had no problems since though this is on a Mazda 626, so not really a sports car 🙂
