How good are these headphones?

My audio card came with my motherboard (Asrock 4coredual VSTA). With my audio card, can I use all the 3D options that come with the headphones?

Anybody have any other good headphone options out there? I need one with a mic attached.

Sennheiser PC 150. Or buy a pair of A-500's and one of those clip-on mics.

I'll second going the A500 route if it fits your budget.

As far as the Altec Lansings go, you should be able to use all the 3D effects with any regular headphone jack, since it's only got the one plug itself.

Sorry to say it but those Altec Lansings are crap. They aren't comfy, they don't have great positioning, and the mic isn't really good. My friend has a pair of these, and I've tried them.
