How good are the RICOH CDRWs?

I simply never heard about the company before(wasnt interested in hardware), so I wanted to know if this was a good choice.

I have the Ricoh combo drive (12x/10/x/32x CDRW, 8x DVD) and love it to death. Been rock solid since I got it around Christmas.
