How good are Polaroid TVs?

I was at the local Wal-Mart and saw that they had a 46" Polaroid LCD than can display at 1080P and was wondering if any of you guys had any experience with polaroid tv in terms of build and display quality. Thanks!

they can instantly show you the image with out you turning on the tv set! It's pretty snazzy.

I saw a little bit of discussion on them in the AVS forum. There were not too many people that actually owned them and one person returned his 26" one (though that was a year ago I think).

Anyway, you may want to search through those forums to see if anyone else has experience with them.

Answer : Pretty average, but goog enough for the casual watcher. Think your basic Wal-Mart Philips/Magnavox set, and you have an idea. Probably made with the same chinese parts anyway.

title fixed...i figured as much as it was around 1,200 when the others where going for 400-500 more.
