How funny would it be to create a complete Wikipedia page about some random person?

Say you pick a random, unknown person from a minor league or independent league baseball team.

How funny would it be to write a Wikipedia entry worthy of featured article status? People would laugh ceaselessly at how much work you put into an article about someone nobody knows or cares about. Hahahaha....maybe that person would even contact you.

as I recall, there are rules against obscure and unencyclopedic subjects, meaning an article about a random person of no significance or interest ought to be removed.

significance and interest are in the eye of the beholder, no?

This seems lame. I think you should write an article about that 'Most Interesting Man Ever' guy from that Dos Equis commercial.

what about someone completely not even remotely famous? Pick your best friend and write a whole article about his/her life, complete with pictures and everything.

That is the major criticism of WP:Notability, yes.

Since employers now google prospective candidates, I can see where posting random shit about someone could be fun...

Let's create a page full of semi-porn pics, drunken bashes, and criminal activities.

Wow...we could totally fuck up someone's life...just for the lulz...
