So I have a fiber connection, they said its DSL. I didnt think fiber could be DSL but thats what we get and the speed is amazing (30/15). I dont think we have a data cap, fairpoint, but I left a torrented linux distro disc (completely legal, so dont even try to tell me torrents are illegal) seeding too long and I seeded 103gb, what are the odds that someone will get angry about this. This was over the course of 2 to 3 days.

Unless the service with your ISP has clearly-defined limits on how much bandwidth you can consume during a given period, I wouldn't worry about it.

Exactly, if anything they'll just ask you nicely not to do so much heavy seeding again, maybe even ask how the service is 😛

Also, you have VDSL, and I'm super jelous.

Yeah, unless they had limits you would know. The worst they can do is throttle you hard, but it's highly unlikely as they its an upload rate as opposed to heavy downloading.
