If you are a thin guy who exercises a lot then around 160 is ok. If you were muscular maybe around 180.

160 is not sickly small by any means for everyone.

I feel like anytime weight is discussed there is always someone trying to say that xx lbs is sickly small when there is a nice range of weights available to everyone depending on your body.

194 though is fat. Really fat if you're not muscular.

Depends on height.

I spent a little over two years away without going home to visit. The first thing I noticed when I came home was how fat we are. It's shocking. Its not something I was acutely aware of before but being away from America and then coming back I can assure you that we have a serious problem.

Its something I've discussed with my friends and family and they seem to be convinced it has something to do with our food. They're not even sure what to do with their kids but are trying to buy meat from small farms at least. Maybe it's the hormones and maybe it's not but something is different.

Its not confined to america either. In Europe the girls are starting their periods at 8 and 9 years old. Breasts are bigger. Something has changed.

Our size has everything to do with how much we eat. In general, we have no idea what, or how much we should be eating. it isn't the hormones.... it's the excessive amount of over processed foods and sugars we devour daily.

And I will just throw this out there that if you are fat or obese, you don't need a BMI number to inform you of it.

I'm a big believer in eating healthy and exercising and it's actually quite possible that obesity is the reason that girls are starting puberty earlier according to a few things I've read. Nonetheless I still wonder since I have friends with daughters who are not fat yet started menstruating insanely young. Might be another reason for those exceptions though.
