I've gone ~100 whenever i'm in a hurry. It's no fun because I had to hold the steering wheel, pay attention and worry about other drivers getting in my way. So i'd probably go about 80 for sustained runs--I can relax and do other things.

I'll probably be going about 100-110 until I get my suby with tires better suited.

Probably 80-90 with traffic around since I don't trust severe braking from higher speeds in uncontrolled environment (read as "other idiotic drivers"). Less reaction time at those speeds and car control can get hairy very fast.

I'd have no trouble with going 90-100 or more with a straight road and nobody around.

I drive a 93 V6 camry

Not the way to think of it, they would add extra gears-overdrive for increased gas mileage at high speeds

And higher speeds, i would imagine better gas mileage until drag became an issue

Probably around 100ish. That's what I did all the way back from Colorado starting in about Iowa till Chicago. No cops around and wide open spaces to see them. :D

If the speed limits were removed, I suspect we'd start seeing alot more 6sp transmissions and turbocharged engines showing up as options on econoboxes.

About 90-95, which is what I tend to drive on the interstate anyway. The '04 Ion Redline is smooth at that speed. If the weather was perfect, with little wind, I could see pushing 105.
