i'm switching to UVERSE and my dl speed will be 6mbit vs. 5mbit with cable, cable has upload of 491-480kbit and im not sure what uverse is, but it should be more, maybe twice

i can't find any info on internet about what speeds are good for hosting games like medieval total war 2

I've never played the game 🙁 I don't even know what kind of game it is, but if it's NOT a FPS you'll probably be fine with ~60k/s

If it is a FPS, it's a crapshoot.

Edit: Check out a download meter, I use DUMeter. This will tell you how much bandwidth you use when you host a game.

Start with 10mb if that does not cut it upgrade to 100, it's usually only 10$ per month extra depending on the server host.

I run a UO server and I barely use more then 1mbps average. I might hit 2ish when there's a huge raid going on and like 50 people online.

Make sure you have a 56k v.92 modem. It's blazing fast. Your game will never have any lag.
