no matter what ur download speed is..
ur never gonna be able to download so fast.. since no servers are good enough...
even the microsoft one i can download to about 500KB/s with a 10mb connection

I'm pleases considering I thought I was on 3mbs. I think they uped me to 8mb service? Got to check. I'm with NTL in England.

I'm on a 10mb service.

Something is not right as I've seen 25 MB/S downloading SP1 for 2003 server.

yup. I've maxed out 100Mb DLing service packs before.

Work has Dual OC-120s. Too bad they're leasing 40Mb of bandwidth out to another school disctrict and have obscene ammounts of non-http transfers....

EDIT: Home 6119/360. Comcast's uploads suck. Funny though, I've gotten sustained DL's of 1600+ KB/s on other servers.

Those speeds from Optimum Online (and supposedly they'll be bumping up the service to 15Mbps soon to compete with Verizon's FiOS as it rolls out here).
