Back in 1992, I was in Germany (ARMY). I drove my friends 1977 Mercedes Benz 450SL (I think), it had a huge steering wheel. I was on the Autobahn with no front brakes.

The speed was 250 Kmh (156 Mph)..

Seriously, the fastest I ever went was in my mom's old Tercel way back when my brother and I were in high school. Took it to the top of a sloped street and got up to about 100 going downhill, which was a big accomplishment for that car.

I've done 110 on the highway before in an Acura.

I won tickets to Marlboro racing school in Miami this spring. I'll be driving an IROC, a forumla car, and a souped up Mustang. So, that 110 shouldn't stand for too much longer. Give it up for free trips to Miami.

I wish I had a lake, or I would have gone faster. This was at the edge of a field owned by some friends of ours in North Dakota. The biggest problem was snow drifts coming at you at 75mph.

When I was a senior in high school in 1988, I had a 72 Toyota Corolla beater that I paid $200 for. Got it up to around 100 mph racing against a buddy who was driving a 74 Datsun.

I got my 86 Honda Interceptor 700 up to around 120. Could have gone higher, but there was a little detail called a 40mph curve in the road ahead.

Driven 140 mph in my hopped up 1994 Mustang GT 5 speed

It was 6AM on a Sunday morning and I was on my way to Fontana on the I-15 north before Temecula, CA. There was nobody on the road except for me and another Mustang that I was playing keep up with. We stayed at that speed for a good 4-5 miles.
