About a minute. SCSI card slows it down a little and I haven't got aroung to fixing the other problem.

19 seconds for full control in XP. I just rebooted to check.. took about 26 seconds including the time to shut down.. Not bad :)

Boot times aren't a good benchmark.
A much better one is how long it takes for the cards to "jump" in Solitare.

In windows XP, 17 seconds from the time it actually starts loading up windows, discarding bios init crap.
In windows 98se, 15 seconds from when it starts loading windows.

Bootvis did nothing for me. My machines boot up really fast, despite the large number of programs that I have on my system. The key is to have no or little programs loading up at startup. Also assigning and IP to your LAN NIC will speed things up considerably.
