Red: how the f' did you get the OS on in that time? Just ghost it?
Yeah basic installation with the minimum parts is a snap, especially when you do over a hundred systems with the same configuration per order. It's also real mind numbing!Originally posted by: Crazymofo
Hardware only and assuming everything is opened and ready to go in the box I could probably put a machine together in <10 minutes... I use a power screw driver and I've assembled 30 or 40 computers.

IMO the case is what makes a build go smoothly. If you have a POS Case that's cramped it really can hinder you where as a Decent Case with a pull out tray makes things all so easy.

After awhile the Shop I worked for started sending them out to Sweat Shops in the Bay Area where they only charged $8 per system and had FOB's building them. However the return rate ate up the profits as we would have to go service them when they fell apart.Originally posted by: cashman

Yea, the cases I buy for my customers when I used to sell a shitload of them, I built the computers in 20 minutes tops and software was another hour and half. I probably could build a computer in my sleep. 😛
