snow patrol, don't feel bad. Mine was 49WPM with 96% accuracy.

I was always very stubborn about doing things my own way when learning how to type and how to play the piano.

I'm a terrible sight reader, but when I am making up my own words to write and music to play, I can fly.

I imagine you are probably the same.

LOL. Don't let the numbers get to your head dudes.

Now, use a REAL typing program, and watch the numbers drop. The average typer is like 25-35 words per minute. There's no way all of you guys can type that fast, and very unlikely can type more than 65-70 words per minute. You have no idea how fast that actually is. A very fast typist types at about 60-65 wpm.

BTW, I got 131 net. I KNOW I don't type that fast. LOL!

Woh, you guys type FAST!!

dude
Sure it is not accurate. But we can atleast compare results to each other. You know somebody getting a 120 is faster than someone with 110.

BTW here's mine...

69 WPM
98%
67 AWPM

Did anybody else get the fun and enjoyment of taking typing class in highschool and using the program Mavis Beacon? That was awesome :) On the "right fright" one we would always have races, and I won with like 100WPM. :)

My mom distracted me, I was well above 100 WPM. She started talking and I made some mistakes and it took me time to realize that I couldn't backspace.

Typing score: 102 WPM
Accuracy: 97%
Net speed: 98 WPM

A one minute typing test? Puhlease. Worthless indicator. :)

I took one awhile ago and was hovering around 60 wpm. A secretary at work can hit over 120 wpm -- it's actually quite amazing to see.

Hrm. This thing says 98WPM with 90% accuracy for 90WPM. Longer typing tests have put me at the 140+ range though. Hrm.
