Obviously not representative of real world sustained typing conditions but... how fast can you type?

106/0 sustained over a 10 minute period (reading out of a book and typing, much more difficult than typing what's on the screen).

Depends. Fastest is about 100wpm, but that's not comfortable at all and I wouldn't do it for long. Normally I type around 80-90, it's a lot more comfortable and I reckon I could keep that up for hours.

Its crazy how slow the average is... Seems to be about 3 letters per second, Im assuming these are people who still have to look at the keyboard to find the right keys

Around 26-30WPM depending on which test I tried. But, I had my glasses off and I am typing on a laptop, which is moving around a bit. My problem is swapping letters now and then in a word. I know where they are, just not good enough to hit them quickly and accurately yet.

I've done over 120 on that test with 0 errors. I don't give a shit to do it again.

We have these threads too often. Consistently, someone like me wins.

I could do like 110 RPM a few years ago when I was in Debate and so could type absurdly fast while doing two other things.

I just scored 85. But my hands are freezing so I have pretty shitty dexterity at the moment.
