I'm serious. Dead serious. Believe me when I tell you that I cheated.

I didn't photoshop it. I just copied/pasted words from the Gettysburg address.

these speeds are so ridiculous if you guys are doing 150+ on qwerty. I was pretty damn lucky to get 150, and even then i couldnt' imagine someone typing faster than that...

98.something, but I voted 100+ because I had to go back and correct the "mistake" of double-spacing after a period, something I was taught in school and have always done  :frown: Bout what I usually score, at any rate.

The world record holder types about 150wpm sustained btw - Link

I don't think she's the world record holder anymore..

There has to be some 20-30 year old computer guru that's ahead of her. She's some 80 year old woman.. come on

150 wpm for 50 minutes sustained is INSANE. I can barely keep 130 wpm for like 2 minutes I think.

140wpm, 5 mistakes

can not
1 space after periods

wtf? It's "cannot". CANNOT. Jesus.

Edit: this might be easier if they took passages from more contemporary works, so we're typing language that we're accustomed to speaking... as opposed to the Gettysburg Address.

I'm consistantly getting between 120 and 130 on this one. On all other typing tests I generally never get above 90, so for whatever reason, this one seems a lot easier. Maybe because its shorter than most and generally has smaller words.
