We're supposed to be having 45 mph wind gusts. How fast is that? I mean, I know how fast it is, but how fast does it feel... would I notice it if I went outside?

Enough to make you feel, dayum, this is one helluva windy day, but you'll be fine walking around.

Have you ever driven down the freeway with the windows down? A little less than that.

Did you really, really have to ask?

it takes a fair amount of effort to walk against the wind, and i wouldnt advise opening an umbrella. you'll lose it in a second.

if your area doesnt experience high winds a lot, you'll have some trees falling or losing major branches, which may cause traffic congestion as that shit gets dealt with.

45 mph winds was enough to flip the boat cover we use for our boat (it's kind of like a temporary carport.. tarp stretched over metal tubes. ~25 feet long) over our fence and into our neighbor's yard.
