i had lost EVERYTHING during the internet boom and crash of the stock market. i managed to save about 20Gs relatively quickly and was going to use that on a downpayment of my new ride. but then that one faithful night, i met her, my love of my life. at that time, money didnt mean anything, i wined and dined her, shopped until we could shop no more, and traveled to many far away places. Although the money didnt last long we had the time of our lives and something we'll never forget. 2 years later, we were happily married and still in love.

Little of both. One comes to mind who is married with a young child. And the other I'm currently thinking of (who is very close to perfect, IMO) might as well be - she's been with the guy for ~8 years. Since 10th or 11th grade or thereabouts.

It seems to be like that with everyone I meet.
