If I (will soon) have a 7800gt, how far can I crank the graphics of wow?

I mean res and stuff....

WoW is pretty tame on graphics. I have a 9600XT and have almost everything cranked up @ 1152x864.

You should have no problems with any setting your manitor will support.

Well the good news is you can run really nice settings, the game will look great and run great.

Hell, i have the game running without lag on my 6800GT with max everything, 1600x1200, 8x FSAA and 16x AF and i dont stress it.

If you want an MMO to challenge your 7800GTX, get everquest 2.

Not really, what need it there for it? MMORPG's main performance choke is RAM and HD speed. I suppose if you wanted to gather the entire server population inside IF, then have everyone AoE simultaneously, you might be able to choke your new video card.

WoW is SUPPOSED to look cartoony and what not, it's not supposed to have HL2/FarCry/etc. like graphics :p
