Duvie has done tests debunking this myth. I would crank the FSB if you can. It's what I am going to do.

2.6C@3.51 so far just got the cpu today
plus im stuck usin ddr 266 until i get my ocz 4200el
im now runnin at 3.64 perfectly stable wont go any farther though
i think ive hit the wall of that ddr 266
that puts me at a 1.04ghz overclock now
