Nice... According to that, I have one child molester and one rapist in my apartment complex. However, I've never seen either of those people anywhere around here, so not sure if it's accurate or up to date.

Yeah, I even think statutory rape should be separate for this list, UNLESS its more than 2 years apart... in which its bad.

I find it hard to believe that a 19 year old dating a 17 year old can be put on a sex offenders list. I think that's retarted.

we have one that is 5 miles away. a 20 yr old having sex with a 16 yr old. NOT rape just sex. so no big deal.

We just got a card from DPS telling us one has moved into our area. Convicted of having sex with a female less than 16y.o.

its actually really funny, most of the sex offenders within a 2 mile radius live at the homeless shelter down the street

I hate looking at those lists because of how stupid they are. There are a LOT of people convicted of crimes that I personally believe shouldn't be crimes (such as an 18 year old and a 17 year old sleeping together, in some areas).

Hah, there is one at my address. I live in a motel, but i've never seen this guy around so I guess its pretty old.

Hmmm there WAS someone just two blocks down. But he must have moved 'cause he's not on that webpage or Florida's registry near me anymore.
So the closest one now is 4 blocks over and two blocks back, 0.41 miles.

His offense: "Lewd or lascivious molestation victim under 12 years offender 18 or older; F.S. 800.04(5)(b) (PRINCIPAL)"

You know their convictions are clearly listed...right along with their age? It's pretty easy to discern "2nd degree rape" and "molestation of child under 12" from "lewd contact with minor under 18", and figure out the guy/girl was 18 when it happened.

Anyway, there are 134 registered offenders within an 8 mile radius of my house, 28 in a 1 mile radius.....WHY do all these facking people flock to Florida???
