How far have you been able to OC Crucial PC2100?

Just looking for other ppl's experience with Crucials RAM.

I recently bought a bunch of stuff, the significant parts for this post being the AXP 1.46 GHz, 512 MB PC2100, and the EPoX 8KHA+, and finally a CAK38 to cool the CPU.

Now, I can't seem to get this rig above ~140 MHz bus speed, when set to 145, it wont even run SETI for more than like 5 minutes before crashing and rebooting.
Running games at 145 MHz is fine though, so I suspect the memory, since SETI pushes this quite a bit, and considdering the CPU has never reacher above 50 degrees C.

So, how far are you peeps out there OC'ing, and with what RAM voltage?

I have been running a 165 FSB for quite awhile with the KG7-R. The voltage is at 2.94. On an 8K7A+, I had to have the voltage at 2.9 to run a high FSB.

EDIT: This is with 2 256MB sticks of Crucial PC2100 installed.

No problems due to the voltage?

Guess I'll up mine a bit then, it's at +.1 right now.

Running 2 sticks Crucial PC2100 ram w/ heat spreaders, @ 2.53v with a 153 fsb, it runs there rock solid.

This is wierd, tried at 2.9 V and still a no go at 145 MHz.
Im thinking it's not the RAM, considdering it seems alot of people can hit 150 at default voltage, I should be able to hit 145 with 2.9 V easially.

So, anyone have any ideas what might be causing this, I still don't think it's the CPU, there are no heat problems, and it's doing 1540 MHz fine at default voltage, it doesnt crash until 1.6 GHz, and at that speed, it doesn't matter if it's at default voltage or +.1 volts.
Too bad this mobo wont let me increase the voltage more...

Components:
AMD AXP 1.46 GHz
2x256 Crucial PC2100 2.5
GeForce DDR
IBM 60 GXP
Turtle Beach Santa Cruz
3Com 905C NIC

Nothing special about this comp really, kinda annoying...

I have run some at 167MHz cas 2, 2.9v, 8,8,7,2,7,2,2. It will run 172MHz, but I have to lower the timings quite abit. I got about the same results from OCZ PC2400 and Corsair PC2400.

I think it is your hard drive, the IBM GXP are notorious for choking on a higher fsb speed. Maybe pull out the NIC card and try also.

Just seems odd that the HD would kick me out at 145.
Thats a PCI speed of 36.25 MHz, thats nothing, are the 60GXP's really that sensitive?

I'm running at 140, but I'm 99% sure it's my video card's fault. If I set the fsb to 142, I can boot into windows, but I can't run 3dmark. It just quits in the middle of it.

I think it's either the HDD's fault or the raid setup. I have a similar setup and couldn't oc more than 145 fsb on both with different sets of rams. I bet the Rams can be o/c quite easily. The problem arise from othe pci bus and agp. maybe it's the video card. I don't know...the system is wacked.

Will update the BIOS, I'll let you know how it turns out.

Considdering the overclocks people seem to be getting with Crucial, I think I can rule out the RAM, I guess it could be the HD, just seems odd at such low PCI speeds.

Oh and the NIC has been used before at considderably higher PCI speeds, no problem.
