How far do you trust SafePeer and Peer Guardian?

What is there to trust? It effectively blocks known IP addresses of those companies that could be out to get you. I've personally found that it is more intrusive than helpful.

Not very far. It blocks registered government/riaa/mpaa/etc ip ranges. Big deal.
