How far can u push the FSB on the pro2a?

When u push it beyond 100, your pci and agp are out of specs even if it's just 102Mhz. So I was wondering how far you can push the fsb without getting hdd corruptiong. Help appreciated htx.

Mine can hit 115 FSB. I'm running a Duron 700 @ 805 (7x115). Ram is at 153 Mhz CAS2, Crucial is Awesome. Now if i can only get the multiplier to work properly on this MSI KT7 Pro2a board I would be in the 950+ area. Oh well, can't have it all! Peace out.

Oh PCI is at 38 Mhz and AGP is also (not sure of number)out of spec. My HD is an IBM 7200 RPM ATA100 drive, other cards are AIW Radeon, Linksys 10/100 NIC, Lucent LT Winmodem. Running in Win2K pro/WinMe no probs for 2 months now. peace out.

The highest I got with a Duron 700 was 107Mhz.

Running my D700 at 108 x 8 =864 just fine on a pro2a. Ran fine at 7 x 110 before I connected the L1's but I get random lockups at higher than 108 now.

how did you get your memrory (crucial) to 150mhz? is there a place in bios to do this? I usually set spd to get 4 way interweave.
just curios if my crucial cas2 2 sticks of 256mb will do this

His RAM is at 153mhz because this value is obtained form the sum of your FSB and your PCI Clock, ie..115mhz FSB + 38mhz PCI Clock = 153mhz. This is automatic, there is no setting, there is no way to prevent it.

how do people atain 133 fsb (with other mobo) 133fsb +44 =177mhz
with plain pc 133 memory? isnt this a little to much for 133 memory?

does this mean if I join the 266fsb band wagon I have to buy new memory? I currently have 2 sticks of 256 crucial cas 2.
