How far can I overclock my 1.6a

Hi, i've got the following system

MSI MS-6532 Motherboard
2x 256 PC133 SD-RAM
Intel P4 1.6a (northwood?)

I've put in a sound card even though there is one onboard, and disabled the onboard one, because when i was overclocking it wouldn't always boot and onboard sound stopped working. I have a geforce 4 mx 400 or something like that. I am using the stock HSF from intel, it's a nice big one, and have put an extra fan at the back of the case.

I don't want to spend money on cooling, if i was going to spend money i would upgrade to a better motherboard with ddr ram, but i'm too poor at the moment :(

She is currently running a 133 FSB which means the processor is running at 2.16Ghz. This is pretty cool. I am just wondering if i can crank it up any more safely? Because that is the speed the memory runs at, and i feel safe there because alot of processors/cards/stuff is designed to run at 133. Can i crank it up to 150 safely or will i risk breaking stuff? If i do, should i change the voltage or use a pci/agp lock or anything like that?

Thanks alot guys

Isaac

Check out overclockers.com and see the CPU database they have there. Then you could see if anyone is running a similar setup as you and find how high they're able to get theirs to run. Good luck with the overclock and let us know if it goes up any higher.

does your motherboard give you an AGP/PCI lock? If so, use that at all times.

Then, just keep ramping up the FSB in small increments, maybe give your memory and core a bit more voltage, and enjoy the free speed...

Will agp/pci lock lock the memory speed for my ram? Coz the FSB is 133 now and my memory is PC133 (damn sd ram boards)?

Also, what is a safe voltage to run at?
