I was kinda surprised, I asked one 31 yr old man and he said he doesn't remember anything before age of 15.

To qualify as "remembering" you need to remember at least 2 events that year.

I'm 21 right now, earliest memories was when I was 6 years old, and I can recall a lot of details.

Please share what age you had your earliest memories :)

My earliest memories are from under 1 year old and I am now 44. It all depends on the person.

My earliest memory I can pin down to when I was two. It was my oldest brother's 6th birthday.

I have a few images stored in my brain from when I was about 3 or 4. I remember lots of things when I was 4 to 5.

Me and my wife were just talking about this tonight. I can remember back to 4 years old with many memories, hers was 5. Im 32, she is 27.
She is pregnant with our first child and we just found out yesterday that it is a girl, I lay my head on her belly every night and talk to the baby and thats what got us discussing our earliest memories :)

Three years old, give or take a year. I remember several things (building a cave out of pillows and smacking my head against a chair, getting a bag of Skittles with my mom at the zoo, seeing snowflakes for the first time, dad chopping the head off of a snake, etc) but I don't know exactly what age I was at the time.

Around 3-4. I remember going to one preschool and getting rejected because they said I was too young. I remember some of the mischievous things I did at the one I ended up at.

Dude, it's like a disease on ATOT. Do you think you get special points for telling the most outrageous lies? The human brain isn't developed enough at age 1 to be able to store memories like that.

You lose

As for me, I'm pretty sure I had a bagel for breakfast this morning. I can't be 100% sure though. That's about how good my memory gets.

3 is the farthest i can go. (i'm 21) my long term memory is pretty good ( i can remember specific details (almost image like, imo) about lots of things from my past)

however my short term memory is non-existent.. >_<

also...i remember people easier by the kind of car they drive. for some reason my brain thinks it is easy to remember a name when it is associated with a car o_O...it sucked learning names in Japan because non of my friends drove, lol...

I can remember back to when god divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament but much before that things get fuzzy.

Atheist by the way.

Probably bought a used bike, half off, that was just enough to call a bike, but you refused anything else because it was a good deal.

;)

I have to think about situations and then I can remember a lot of stuff from when I was really young. Pictures of videos especially can jog a lot of memories.
