How exactly does a TV work with only two component jacks?

Thought you need the full RGB RCA cables...

...located on the back panel--along with two component-video inputs

I'm helping my mom buy an Insignia NS-LCD32-09 for Christmas, but the decision was made late, so I don't think I'll get an HDMI cable from Monoprice in time (in Canada). Plus her current Digital Box doesn't have HDMI anyway (will be replaced).

So in the interim I'd like to hook it up with Analog temporarily. How does having only two component inputs work?

I don't understand the question. If you have 2 sets of component inputs, simply connect the component cable and audio cable to the TV and go from there.

Heh, actually I realized the simplest analog would be just to use coaxial. Sunday morning brain fart. Disregard!

Sorry if I'm misunderstanding your question, but it sounds like you're misreading the specs. The TV doesn't have two component jacks; it has two SETS of component jacks and each set has the three inputs (RGB or YPbPr).
