How hard is the autolock to break? Is it nearly as tough as the infomercial says?
Spare me the "if the guy wants the car it will get it". I know that. I just want a good deterrent besides an alarm.

whats to keep me from hopping into your car, unscrewing the pedal (just the rubber part not the whole arm) sliding that thing off and killing you with it, wouldn't even take a minute

if that dosen't do it give me a screwdriver, hammer , tin snips, and a pair of channel locks, have the section of floor board right out of there

maybe i'm a thief with some mpney to spend, can't i just use one of these http://www.lock-picks.com/tubularpicks.htm ?

Basically, I think these devices just buy you time if someone's trying to steal your car. It certainly wouldn't hurt to have it though. Add in a club, and an alarm, for a decent setup. Unless you have the money for LoJack, which would only help after the car has been stolen.

I am a bit paranoid sometimes :p. I think my setup is not that bad as a deterrent. Maxima (not popular with thieves apparently), manual, alarm with starter kill, autolock and beige (not a popular color) :p

Read some threads about stolen maximas so I got kinda worried.
