Pretty much just spend a little extra on RAM, maybe $90-100 per 4GB, then up the multiplier. There's a I5 overclocking thread below, almost everyone can get 3.4-3.6 on stock voltage with good temps. You can get 3.8-4 pretty easily with minor voltage increases.
I wouldn't spend extra on ram for a 3ghz overclock. DDR3-1333 would be rated up to a 222bclock at a 6x multiplier.
222x20=4440mhz
Im not sure exactly how p55 mobos work with multipliers, but I know with most x58s you can lock the turbo frequency for a possible:
222x21=4662mhz
222x24=5328mhz
So IF you can lock a 24 multiplier on your mobo, your ram is rated to run ur processor up to 5.3ghz.

Well, I know my P55 motherboard doesn't have a memory divider, so that's why I say get some decent ram that can run at 1600 or so.
