Not sure, but in the OP's vid I think the guy has all the tracks playing in the background and hitting the pads just unmutes them, rather than having all the sounds 'triggered' by hitting the pads. That's why the whole thing has metronome perfect timing which would be next to impossible the way he's playing it.

You know that would require the same precision...right? I would dare say even more so cuz if you un-mute at the wrong time you just missed your beat.

First 40 seconds looks pretty goddamn genuine to me.

My (WINNER) entry for DJTT's Ableton contest...

I just used the Novation Launchpad in "user 1" mode to control Ableton Live running Mad Zach's drumrack. I stretched or piched some of the original samples so they could match the track's key, that's it... no other samples, no other fx... and as you can see everything is played live!

will watch later. im not a huge huge fan of dubstep but there is definitely some really cool songs out there. im more a fan of the songs that have dubstep portions and the entire song isn't dubstep, like Levels or that I get a good feeling song.
