How does your work place celebrate monthly birthdays?

Pretty typical here, just the regular cake, ice cream and soda.

Wondering what other places tend to do...

they have "treats" once a month available in the kitchen. Could be doughnuts, cake, cookies, bagels, fruit..... whatever.
Its a nice gesture I think

Most of our birthdays are annual.
But some folks do try to sneak in an extra one every so often. :|

First thursday of the month is our montly staff meetings. They announce the bdays and work anniversarys, cater in lunch-dinner (its at 4PM) and have cupcakes.

I work at a pretty small firm (13 people). We go out to a nice restaurant ($15-25 meals) for lunch and have cake afterwards. My boss is pretty cool.

lunch and cake for the "normal" people...if its a guys bday boss and a few others go to the strip club after work ;)

They don't celebrate mine, its december 24th so its get entirely glossed over by Christmas/New Years. Not that I'd want any extra cake around that time of year anyway.
