How does XP deal with hyperthreading?

I am wondering, since XP home only supports one CPU, does it cheat to use hyperthreading, or does hyperthreading not work on XP home?

I ask because I wonder what would happen with dual hyperthreading xeons. would XP pro (which supports up to 2 cpus) allow for 4 virtual cpus due to hyperthreading?

XP Home supports 1 physical CPU; XP Pro. supports 2 physical CPUs.

Since XP is "HT aware" it can make use of the logical processors on those physical processors.

So yes HT works under XP Home; and yes XP pro would have 4 logical CPUs if it were to run on a dual xeon system.
