How does Unreal Tournament and Quake3 look on a Radeon 32 meg

Hi
I am thinking of getting the Radeon 32 meg. My main games are Unreal Tournament, Quake3 and games that are coming out. (I am upgrading from a voodoo 2)
I am also considering the Elsa Gladiac or Visiontek GTS, but am leaning towards the Radeon.
Can someone tell me how the above games look on the Radeon32 or should I get the Elsa or Visiontek.

I will be using a 19 inch monitor, P3 700, Windows ME, 128megs for ram

Many thanks

Both look great. Unreal Tournament looks noticably better on the Radeon than a GTS, but Quake III Arena looks about the same (excluding the sky textures). One problem I had with Unreal Tournament and the ATI AIW Radeon that I didn't have with my Geforce 2 GTS is that the minimum frames/second on the Radeon seemed to be a lot lower than the GTS at 1024x768 (to where it actually caused a lower score when playing against the computer or others). The ATI AIW RAdeon was overclocked to 190/190MHz. The GTS was running at 215/183.

For both games, they very nice on my GTS

For UT, getting Loki's OpenGL renderer, and using the s3 compressed textures is really, very nice.
There is also a patch out now for Quake3 to get rid of the poor texture compression by switching over to DX, which gets rid of the sky problem.

On UT and Quake 3 they are both pretty even. In UT using D3D, the Radeon looks better. But the OpenGL tweak makes it look all good on both cards...its a little tougher to implement the OpenGL on the Radeon but works just fine. But you don't need OpenGL for UT with the Radeon IMO, D3D looks fanastic. Quake 3 is a toss-up with the DXT1 to DXT3 conversion patch.

Radeon is cheaper...get the Radeon 64 from buy.com for $187 minus $30 coupon...I don't think you'll be sorry. Otherwise, get a visiontek GF2...they seem to be tops in quality.

Cheers.
