It sounds good to me. One of the few things that I would change, is to splurge and buy Win2k or WinXP (I prefer 2k). It is almost a crime to put Win98 on a new PC in my opinion. If you can get a Lite-On DVD rom for the same price or less than the Pioneer, I would get it. The Lite-On is proven to be the fastest out there.
