How does this sound for $292?

For $292 Canadian, how does this sound?

CASE: Medium ATX 250w CSA
CPU: K6-2/400 (I have a K6-3+ to stick in it though)
MOBO: Epox something or other, it's a good board. 😉
RAM: 160MB (128MB PC133, 32MB PC100. I have 128MB PC66 at home)
CDROM: 50x

My cdrom is faulty, hence the cdrom purchase. That 50x is only $28!! When I checked at other stores, I'd see 42-72x for $60-150, no cheaper. 28 bucks!!

The case is only $39 (remember, Canadian price), and it is a mid tower ATX case with a 250w power supply! The Epox/K6-2/32MB is rougly $136 Canadian ($90 U.S.).

So I add this all up and I get $292... That includes 128MB PC133 for $89 Canadian! Schweet, if I can get it.

If I can get all this, at these prices, my system will finally be up again, and running at a quasirespectable speed. 😉

So what do you guys think? $292 Canadian, that's how much American? About $160, $170 maybe?

Anyway, if someone can put together something better for no more $, I'm open to suggestions. 😉

Looks good. And when you can save up a little more cash, you can get a duron and motherboard, the case and ram will work well with it.

Edit: what brand is the cdrom?

I don't know what brand the cdrom is, it just says 50x and it is $28. Of course it won't be the best, but there is no way in hell that it is as bad as the CDROM I have now. It is a 10x Pioneer that is REALLY messed up, hardly reads anything properly.

That's what I like about the mid tower ATX case... it is cheap, and when I decide to upgrade to a Duron/Tbird setup I will be able to, and keep the ram too.
