How does this look?

Thinking of ordering this:


-Two KINGSTON HyperX Series 184-pin 512MB DDR333 (PC2700)
-Epox 8rda+ mobo
-AMD XP2500+ Barton

The total comes to 419$, and I'd be replacing my current mobo/cpu/ram with that, for 1gb and a high end CPU 400 bucks is pretty good IMO

I'm planning on overclocking the barton as far as it can go, do they have the same headroom as the tbreds? I would assume they do.

Any opinions would be appreciated, thanks.

Looking good, what kind of heatsink/fan are you planning on using? Barton's are like T'breds but have 512k instead of 256k on-die cache and a higher default FSB.

looks good, I'd recommend a slk900 for cooling that beast if you are oc'ing

I am not sure if the Barton has the same headroom as the TBreds, I havent yet used one myself.
