I will be getting a TBred B 2100+. Looking at a Thermalright SK-7 topped by a Vantec Stealth or Panaflo L1A. I want a nice quiet fan, but one that will allow a mild to moderate overclock. Look good? Other suggestions for fans? Please don't suggest the SLK-800, I know it's the best...but I ain't got the cash.

Also considering YSTech adjustable 80mm fan...can be adjusted to higher (and noisier) flow when desired. Any experience with this fan?

I have a YS Tech adjustable, an SK-7, and also the quiet 80mm NMB from SVC, as well as the Panaflo L1A. If you were going to get a single-speed fan, the L1A is a great pick. The YS Tech does give you a nice range of cooling, but at its minimum speed it has very little airflow, so you would want to make sure not to crank it down too far (got any little kids in the household?).

AX 7 with a vantec 80mm tornado for me on an athlon XP1700+ t-bred A, but the good thing is, I got the fan hooked up to a thermaltake fan controller after splicing some wires. Cools nice on low and medium setting with low noise at constant 39-40*c, with fan on full blast for o/c at 1.52ghz with a 190mhz fsb and 8.0 multiply, temps still at around 40-41*c...

I'll second that! I turned my YS Tech all the way down one day just to see how high the temps would get. Didnt' take long for them to climp up there!

bout where did u set your YSTech? I would prolly try to match the L1A flow...but how loud is this fan when u set it where u want it? (IE for a non-OC vs a moderately OC setup?) Also, does the L1A have enuf power to cool a mild to moderate OC?
