How does this compare to the phillips divx player?

Hm... unless you're pretty hard up, I'd probably go ahead and spend the extra for the Philips.

Hard up financially speaking. Not much good to save $10-20 now if the unit dies in less than two years and you have to replace it. If it's just a rebadge I'd probably say go for it.

are you telling me you know this unit dies in less than 2 years? Or are you just speculating? Because if you are speculating how do you know the Phillips wont die? Is it a rebadge?
