It's definitely worth the $40. You're getting 200 more mhz (of A64 power). There are people around here, and on other forums, considering spending $1000 on a Prometia setup, to get a few hundred more mhz out of their A64's. It's definitely worth it.

the price of both the retail versions of the a64 2800+ and the xp 3200+ are $187 each. same price, and similar performance, but the a64 is still faster by a margin.
