They do, but I don't care about politics. I follow major political news because it is news, but it's not like I'm oblivious to spin. The news wires/services like Reuters and AP tend to be neutral (just the facts) so I usually use them as my main source of news.

CNN isn't that much left leaning, they just tend to be the one most focused on presenting news as entertainment. They needlessly jazz up presentation and overdramatize everything. Their political panels are more balanced than any other major network, though (but Roland Martin still irritates me to no end).

When is stuff like this news anyway? That's what you get for replacing "News" with "Whatever crazy shit keeps people glued to the teletube." And it's not just Fox here.

Oddly enough, in their fuckup they did this the right way. People were watching it for the gore, just give it to them.

That's cable news for you. There's just too much time available, they've got to fill it with something. So they fill it with garbage.

That's why I like listening to NPR. Instead of 24 hour news, they have the headlines at the top of the hour, the news segments at different times, and then they fill the rest of the time with interesting exposes on something that might actually teach you something. And their discussion panels are usually not full of people yelling at each other. YMMV, they have a lot of local programming that isn't nationally broadcast.

Shep seems like a stand up guy.

With these channels, any of them, I just watch the news readings and don't watch the commentary shows. Some people are too stupid to realize they aren't one and the same.

Wow, fly off the handle much? Besides, all he said was he looked like a Triceratops, not something like "boy, he's one ugly dino-looking shoobie". Sometimes people look like things/animals, it's just an observation. Typical over-defensive rightie, back to P&N with you.

PS- I don't even know who this khammer guy is or what he looks like.

first, i know he's paralyzed. so are millions of others.

second, i never judged him because he looks like a triceratops. i judged him because he's a fascist, based on his articles and tv interviews on fox.

He's disabled and we should treat disabled people "special" because apparently they're "special" and hate being treated like everyone else.

Also that paralyzed dickface is an asshole. I too don't know who he is, but he sounds like a real asshole.
