How does PC-Cillin Anti-Virus work with Linksys Router?

I was thinking about getting the PC-Cillin upgrade for my Linksys router and was wondering how it protects. Does it install onto computers on the network, scan all traffic comming and going on the network, or what.

I'm not exactly sure how the Pc-cillin software works with the router. The Zone alarm features with the linksys router prevents you from going on the internet unless you have zone alarm running. If you don't it just gives you a page saying that ZA is not activated. I believe that PC-cillin does the same thing if you have it activated, but I could be wrong.

I don't think they do anything actually "together". I think the Linksys just simply checks to make sure that virus protection or ZA is running on the client. If not, that client is blocked. You could use any software firewall and virus protection and have the same thing.

The place this might be valuable is in a small office to keep employees from turning off these features.
