How does one lose $332,004 in one day playing online poker?

Wow. I guess to put it in context you'd have to know what his normal bankroll is etc, but wow that seems like a lot of money to lose playing online poker. Ivey is an awesome player in 'real' games, I'm not sure how good he is online....

Shit, I've lost that in one hand.

i told you i had you beat, i don't know why you called my $100,000 raise on the river.

I thought I knew your tells. You set me up.
It really hurt when you yelled, "WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER!"

And talk about big hairy cojones for calling that all in with just a pair of nines.

EDIT: Oh he had 2 pair. What a call though. 😛

he had top 2 pair in heads up poker, there was really no way he was beat.

edit: about the only logical hand that could beat him would be a 6-8 for the 9-high straight, but that's a longshot, and the way the guy played it actually very unlikely, i would've called with top 2 pair as well

I play on PokerStars and only play real money games with money I win playing free rolls. I'm pretty sure the site uses dynamic software to eliminate players from tourneys, SNGs, etc. About 90% of the time the player with the most chips wins an all in situation. With elimination software more games equals more money for the site. Lack of regulation in the industry to ensure fair play is why you shouldn't play with real money on any site. I'm also willing to bet the bigger depositors win more hands. If you want to play where you have a chance play in the casinos.
