I keep hearing people say that they got a "mod".. how do you get one and what is it?


"Donations" to the AnandTech Moderator's Vacation fund will get you a good and nice mod, otherwise you may wind up with the Mean Mod

I don't want a mod - too much cleanup. My neighbor has a mod and he's trained very well. He still goes nuts when he sees another mod, though.

mod is really talking about % or modulus, modulus is the remainder after doing a division. Just like the modulus squad or the mod squad as people liked to call them.
