How does one disable CPU Overheat shutdown?

I have a Shuttle XPC SN41G2 and like quite a few others I've noticed, the computer on occasion will shut down for no apparent reason. For me, shutdowns happen when playing FPS's, checking e-mails, and even sending messages via AIM. I have run numerous tests on the memory, tried different power outlets and reinstalling Windows XP, but to no avail. My average temps always linger around 40-45 C and the highest I've ever seen the CPU temp was 51 C. Based on these facts, and the fact that I currently have no money resources to do any replacing of parts, how does one disable the CPU Overheat shutdown process, as I know for a fact if it is disabled, I won't burn up anything as temps never get close to anything dangerous. Thank you in advance and hopefully this issue can be resolved.

Ah yes, sorry, I forgot to mention that. My overheat shutdown option in the BIOS is actually set to disabled, yet it still does this. :(

Did your motherboard include temp monitoring software? If so, it may also have an overheat shutdown setting you can adjust.

The motherboard didn't come with any such software that I know of...I'm just hoping there is a way to disable this, as it even shut down when I was replying to a message on here. :(

Maybe your chip is really overheating and locking up. :Q
