I believe there to be a problem in my school. And much of the student population and faculty seem apathetic to the problem. How does one notify the local press to ask, or investigate this issue?

Call from a payphone?

Just go to your local newspaper/channel website. Articles usually list the reporters email address and/or phone number next to their name.

Its really old tech.
But in the olden days people used to use these things called typewriters and envelopes with postage stamps.
Don't know how they ever made it.
Must have been rough.

1) Gather the facts, evidence and other media hype.
2) Contact your local newspaper and TV station anonymously via e-mail using a free webmail account.
3) ...
4) Profit?

Start your own online news station. Then pretend you got an anonymous tip and report on it.

Post the whole story here and ATOT will pass the word on the atrocities befalling your educational facility.
