Great success. I now have a pizza.

Wow!! Maybe from here you can work yourself up to something even more complicated like instant coffee.

No need to stress him out... let him recover from this experience first.

Is this really not a legitimate question? The first time I ordered vietnamese take out, I went 15 minutes later. They told me it wasn't ready yet and I ended up waiting 20 minutes.

By the time I order a pizza and drive to the end of my street to pick it up, it's ready. At most, it takes 10 minutes.....normally only 8 minutes.

I think most people know that when they order they need to get a time when they make the order.

Also you spawned a parody thread and that makes it even better. 😉

How the hell could someone over 6 not know this?

I've never done carryout for pizza before. Usually I call into a restaurant and they call me when its ready. I ordered online and nothing was mentioned. The confirmation email contained an estimated time.

Honest question: which restaurants call you back? All the ones I order carryout from just give me a time estimate when I call the first time.

I can think of a Thai restaurant, a Vietnamese restaurant, a little sandwich shop....

That's because they were about to close and were wondering who is the asshat who placed an order and didn't pick it up.

I went through a drivethrough once, I ordered food from this talking box. I paid at the 1st window then at the next window the food was there, never seen anything like it.

Okay, so how about take and bake? Would I take the pizza and then bake it? Or take the pizza and then bake and then forget where I took the pizza?
