How does Anandtech make money?

How does it make money, to afford all the upgrades and such? I am sure advertising doesn't pay that well.

With as many users as they have in the forums and as many people that probably read the forums and don't join as well as the main web site, I'm sure they make plenty from ads.

Online Ads are pretty much worthless these days. They barely cover the cost of the bandwidth needed to supply them.

Well ANandtech gets quite a few million hits per day, and so the advertisers have to pay ALOT to put it onto such a popular site. And with so MANY adverts around all over the site there is alot of money coming into the piggy bank

It's all about the ads. Sharky was the king of making sure that he had plenty of pages so he could fit in as many ads as possible per review.

The front page of anandtech is sooo messy, I don't even bother reading his personal messages on the bottom of it.
